Sultanate of Oman Ministry Of Tourism Receives the World Air League

Muscat, Oman- The second in a series of meetings were held between Oman Ministry Of Tourism Director General Salim Bin Adey Al-Mamari and World Air League Commissioner Hartsell to discuss the potential for Oman to be an Official WSR Milestone Site. In connection with UNESCO, Oman has four important World Heritage Sites: Aflaj Irrigation Systems; Archaeological Sites of Bat, Al-Khutm and Al-Ayn; Bahla Fort; and, Land of Frankincense. Discussions included an assessment of Oman for its unique geographical setting and cultural heritage. The Ministry of Tourism expressed interest in having the opportunity for Oman to represent the Gulf Coast Countries in the World Sky Race celebrations. Later this year, Oman will be presenting as a country its unified branding campaign.
